Buyers Beware. The additional charges levied by this company to successful bidders are well hidden, not transparent and somewhat unethical. Be aware of their charges, as follows: 1/ Buyers Fee: 1,000.00 2/ Fees for Property searches: 650.00 (usually around 150.00!) 3/ Sellers Fees: 4,750.00! For some unknown reason, they are unwilling to provide invoices to cover the latter two charges. Why Not? Why are these additional charges hidden in their Special Conditions and not clearly visible on their website? No wonder this industry has a bad name for ethics

Marino Costi assisted my family with the sale of a late family member's property at auction. The process was quick (under a month from instruction to auction), surprisingly straightforward with no lengthy questionnaires to complete, and we didn't have to wait for probate to be granted in order to sell at auction. Marino reassuringly kept us informed and guided us through the auction process.

We were delighted that the property achieved over our reserve price, and over that of the marketing valuations provided by other high street estate agents. Precise and always ready to answer our queries no matter the time or day of the week. Our rental was a difficult one but thanks to him we found a lovely landlord and a beautiful flat in a very nice area. I had an excellent experience working with Shemsi from McHugh & Co when it came to sorting out a place to live in London. The communication was on point and he really helped me get the processes sorted. It was made sure that the landlord fixed a few nicks before I moved in as well. It genuinely felt like they were trying to help me get the place.

I only give two stars for the good range of properties, this company is one of the worst for advertising auction properties at a price well below market value just to attract interest, then hit the unsuspecting buyer with very high fees, typically 2.75 percent of the purchase price, BEWARE! read the small print.

Our experience with Paul and McHugh & Co has been phenomenal. Paul is so responsive to emails and answering any questions and his team was really quick when getting references sorted, etc. All of their leasing documents were really straightforward and we honestly could not have had a more positive experience and can't rate them highly enough! Not to mention we have found the most gorgeous flat through them and can't wait to use them again in the future!

Having purchased a commercial property with McHugh's London. My partner and I would like to thank them for all of their help during the process. Not only did we have a vendor refusing the relinquish the keys but had a number of teething issues to be resolved. Finally getting keys delivered to us on Christmas Eve was more than a result in the middle of a pandemic and was apparently all part of the service. Well done McHugh's and a big thanks to Paul who made it all happen with great style and a good measure of humour.
