We have been operating as an independent estate agency since 1985, giving us over three decades of market experience. Our founders, Andrew Willmer and Nick Kier, built a reputation for professionalism that continues to guide our work today. In 2002 we expanded into the Lane Group, uniting twelve offices across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire and a Mayfair office in London. Lane and Holmes were wonderfully helpful and communicative from the point of instruction, arranging photographs and a brochure, conducting viewings, managing negotiations with each part of the chain and keeping the deal intact all the way to sale. Great Service. Made things easy in getting property on the market. The team were really friendly and a special thanks to Nik who 'hit it out of the park' in finding a perfect property for us. Lane and Holmes were extremely helpful in getting a very difficult chain through to exchange and completion. My daughter was at the bottom of the chain and wasn't getting any help with the estate agent she was buying through so I advised her to talk to Lane and Holmes who were at the top of the chain. After 7 long months they got it through to exchange in little over a week. Thank you Ross and the team, for your help!

(Owner acted very quickly on this and was very apologetic and has assured us it was completely out of character. Would give 5 out of 5 for his attitude and would probably use again because of this) Viewed a property with Lane and Holmes and to be quite honest the agent dealing with it was a completely disinterested from the start. Made an offer on the property and was told in a very rude and condescending manner that it wasnt enough and we needed to carry on looking for another property. Far from professional Cathie.

I recently used L&H to sell my house. They've been fantastic, the whole team are super friendly. Someone always answers the phone, a lways gets back to you when they say they will. They actually did a lot of chasing and admin with regards to the solicitors and finalising details too, couldn't have done it without them. Glad i didn't!
