Simon Walker and Michael Smale formed their successful estate agency partnership in 1996. Having built a strong professional relationship during their time working for a large corporate estate agency in the area, Simon and Michael decided to join forces and, as Walker Smale, they have helped move people in, out and around North Leeds and Wharfedale for well over two decades.

Michael's estate agency career started in 1987, after leaving school, with a large, independent estate agency in Ilkley, before moving on to another independent estate agency in Horsforth, before coming back to Ilkley and then running the Otley. Simon Walker has been an estate agent since the early 1970s, starting his career at Mawson and Walton on Greek Street in Leeds City centre.
