Wasn't a sale, a rental, or anything they had to help with! I mistakenly ordered an expensive package to an address I used to live at which Simon Blyth are now selling. I called Simon Blyth who went out of their way on a Sunday to meet me and help me out. Many thanks to Leslie and the team! You saved me

We sold and purchased our house via SB. Unfortunately it wasn't a straight forward sale due to our sellers but I can honestly say we couldn't have done this without Emma B and Grace B. They were always available to speak to or would call back as soon as they could, listened to our concerns and acted very well on our behalf. It became very close to the wire when we were waiting to exchange and the work Emma did on the day before and the day of was nothing short of amazing.
I don't think we would be in our new home now it if it wasn't for Emma's hard work on the 2 days. I just want to say a big thank you to Simon Blyths team (as I think I spoke to pretty much all of you) for being so understanding even when I was calling 3 times a day!

Offered on a property only to find when the surveyor went in that they had over valued it by 85k as they had marketed it against new builds in the local area. They refused to accept they were at any fault and said the vender wanted to meet us in the middle. We said we were not paying over 40k more for a house than what it was worth and they kept us hanging for a week. We had to chase them daily for updates and they kept telling us that the vender wouldn't go below a certain price.
We then found out from the vender a week later that they wanted to sell to us at the price the surveyor and had asked Simon Blyth to tell us this but they didn't and instead told the vendors that we were unreasonable encouraged them to put their house back on the market. told the vendors that they felt we were being unreasonable. When we told the estate agent we were pulling out of the sale and why they were very rude on the phone said she didn't want to hear our complaint and put the phone down on us.

We couldn't be happier with the service we received from the SB team! We would highly recommend them as they got us 12 viewings in one day, 6 offers, and it sold for over asking price! We got to know the Holmfirth office quite well whilst selling our property as we always popped in to say hi and check progress. We were always greeted with smiles. Joe did a great job of valuing our house and asking questions to make sure the evaluation was accurate. Grace and Samantha were always checking in with a happy and positive attitude and there was always someone to answer the phone and deal with our questions quickly and efficiently. Emma maintained great communication with us and our buyers throughout the entire process and made sure the solicitors moved quickly. We will certainly be going back to them next time we move!
