Recently sold our property in Wokingham through Hunters and went through many aborted exchanges with a difficult buyer. There were some communication issues throughout the process, but without an above and beyond effort by Eddie Davies, I'm convinced we would not have completed at all. Eddie came across at all times as a professional, customer focused and dilligent agent from first meeting to our completion. He handled communications with the buyer and their solicitors, which were often quite difficult and ensured they knew what we were prepared to do to get the sale through and more importantly what we were not. I have been dealing with John, and Ive been thoroughly impressed with his enthusiasm and commitment. You can tell he takes pride in the service he gives, and rightly so. He went the extra mile and even came into work early one day to pass on the great news that my offer had been accepted as early as possible. He knew how much it meant to me, and I could hear in his voice how excited and happy he was to give me the good news. Out of all the estate agents I have spoken to, John was the only one I really enjoyed talking to and he has made the scary process of being a first time buyer so much easier by being so friendly and approachable. John Duffy made our purchase so very easy and stress free , which it needed to be as we are not even in the UK yet.
Nothing was too much trouble.
He met my daughter within an hour of me calling him so that she could look at the property for us as we needed to make a quick decision.
Good communication was very important to us as we were still abroad

I was really happy with the service provided by Hunters and Richard deserves a special mention. Hunters did a really good job when they were the managing agents of the rental property but would like to specifically mention about the service provided when we decided to sell the property. Richard was always available to help and guide us through the really long and sometimes painful sale process spread over 2 years! Nothing was too much trouble for Richard and we were really impressed by his positive attitude when sometimes things got really tricky and frustrating. I still owe him a drink ! Thanks again for all the hard work and patience.

We have been with Hunters now for a number of years now. Firstly for rental, and now for selling our house.
I have nothing but the highest praise for both departments. Having already left a review on the rental team, this is on the sales.
Hunters are like one big family, and right from the outset, they made me feel so comfortable with their mix of professionalism and engaging friendliness.
It is nice not being just another customer, more part of their extended family. Whoever answers the phone when I call is always cheery and welcoming.
I have been going through our sale process with Richard, during that time we have actually become friends even though we have never met. I know some will simply want the relationship to remain an Agent/Customer one which is fine, I am sure they can do that as well!!
As far as the process goes, Richard kept me informed throughout, I do not ever remember having to chase him, any queries were dealt with promptly.
I have never known another Estate Agency with the ethos towards their clientele as Hunters have, I cannot recommend them highly enough.
