They were very warm and understanding to me as a student immigrating from Nigeria. I reached out to them and they got me an apartment opposite the university within the same day. During the duration of my tenancy they were warm and helpful. Even after the end of my student year they helped me settle down on such short notice I couldnt believe it! Special shout out to the team especially the warmest and fuzziest Lou! And shout out to Jolan as well he helped me move in to my apartment for free! They are a Godsend and truly are great people!

I had a great experience with Bed Student Rentals. The apartment I rented through them was perfect ,clean, well-maintained and just what I was looking for. Everything was okay throughout my stay. The operations manager, Lou Tomkow was always helpful and professional whenever I needed assistance. I really appreciate their service and would gladly recommend them to anyone looking for a place to rent.

After coming to Chester University, I decided to rent with Bed Student Rentals. I have now rented with them for 3 years and they have been incredible the entire time! The staff are not only friendly and fun but incredibly knowledgeable. They always make sure that their properties meet exceptional standards and maintenance is constant! If youre looking for an easy, enjoyable house hunting experience, then Bed are your people!

I've been with Bed rentals for the last 2 years and they have been absolutely excellent, they are always willing to go the extra mile to help. Before I came to bed rentals I went with another housing company and they were the complete opposite they wouldn't help and they would blame us for every little thing that happened and when we reported something to do with the house they would take ages to deal with the situation and if we were to ask them about the situation they would speak to the housemates rudely.
So when we decided to make the move over yo bed rentals it were the best decision I've made while being at university. The staff at bed rentals always have a smile on there face a ndwhen you walk past they would always wave and ask how your day is going which makes a big difference to me personally. Even more recently I've had a horrible injury from rugby meaning that I can't walk very well, as soon as I told bed rentals they were extremely concerned and couldn't do more to help, they allowed me to move to the downstairs bedroom to make my life easier numerous members of staff from bed rentals have asked me asking how I am am if I need any help with anything and if there is anything they can do to help.
If I could give them more than 5 stars then I certainly would do and I definitely recommend to any student to go with Bed rentals and they will definitely not regret it

Having only lived with Bed for one academic year, I have been nothing but impressed with the service that they have provided me with. Should I ever need anything, theyre more than accomodating with a huge amount of knowledge about all of their properties. Bed has supported me when I was struggling with an ex house mate and continued to check in with me once they vacated the property. Not only this, but as I moved to Chester from New Zealand, knowing no one in Chester, Bed have put me in touch with some incredible people whom I know will be life long friends. I have nothing but praise and thanks for Bed Student Rentals.

Fantastic company and very nice, welcoming staff. Mike (head of the company) has always made me feel very welcome and he and the rest of the staff are very friendly. Also incredibly helpful unlike another agency I have rented with, they say to let them know about any issues and they will sort them whereas in the past with another agency problems would not get resolved. The house I am renting with them is a great house, roomy and very homey. I fully recommend this company and would not listen to the very negative reviews as everyone else I know who has gone with bed have also been pleased with their houses and the company.

Where do I begin? This will now be my 2nd year living in a house rented off BED after being let down previously from another student letting agency. BED students rentals are the best letting agency in Chester (do I dare say across the country?! They would be hard to beat!)

The staff never fail to make me feel welcomed and at ease, no question too silly, no request too big! Everything I've asked for has been possible. I was placed in a house with people I never met after putting my faith in Mike and his team! From this, I met a lifelong friend!

The team go above and beyond. I genuinely wish I could stay in their care for life! I feel safe and secure constantly!

It's such a shame seeing bad reviews for this agency as I can't see how they could possibly be talking about the same place I have grown to love!

Very welcoming staff and lovely houses. My boyfriend is currently suffering from a severe knee injury and they were so accommodating with helping him find a suitable room and they even gave him the chance to move in a day early so he could keep isolating in order to have his operation. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a house!! Ignore the negative reviews, Mike and the team are lovely and I didnt see a single bad house when I viewed them with my boyfriend & his group. FYI - I do not personally live in a bed property so this review is completely impartial :)

I rented a house through Mike at his previous company for my daughter, it was her first year at Uni and her first away from home, I was worried and concerned about her but Mike reassured me and my wife that he would look after her and true to his word he always did. He was always at the end of the phone and nothing was too much trouble, even when he moved to his new company he has always been helpful and supportive. I would highly recommend Mike and his staff to anyone looking for accommodation. Thankyou to Mike and his team!

Awesome service! These guys really helped me out! They were actually interested in getting to know me and better understanding what I was looking for. I wasn' t just another deal to make, they treated me as a person!

I rented a property of them and there were a few issues with the landlord at the start of the tenancy, but here is the thing... Bed Student Rentals listened to us and they obliged the landlord to keep to the contract and provide us with a good standard of living. And this is a big one with Bed Student Rentals, they only take on lettings that are of a good standard (or landlord is willing to update it to the good standard). Yet it is affordable! What else could a student ask for?

Just go and pop into their office, you ll understand after just 1 meeting with them what I am talking about. They are approachable, welcoming, helpful and even advise you on other agencies if they think they are a better match for your needs. Just go and see them :)

Fantastic Service from BED. We have been letting our student house in Chester for eighteen years and have used seven agents, nearly all incompetent, rude or greedy and some all three. The eighth was BED Lettings, run by Mike Hannigan, proud to be a a reformed DJ, who is using his knowledge of students to satisfy both their housing needs and the needs of landlords. When I visited his office in Garden Lane, he introduced me to his staff (Jolan an unreformed DJ, Joe, Paula and Tori) and even his painter and decorator (Mike Middleton) and his cleaner (Paula), and we made an immediate connection.

Mike and I took the short walk to our house in Bouverie Street and on the way I was amazed to see him warmly greeted by several students and a PCSO. One Eastern European student insisted on hugging him, as she thanked him for having her heating fixed so quickly. When I looked surprised, she grinned and said Hes the best!

He viewed our house and evidently had some tenants in mind for soon afterwards he emailed me to say he had signed up four students. This was in December the previous agent had taken until April!

Mike Hannigan is obviously recognised as competent, approachable and sociable by the student tenants. Despite his DJ past, he strikes me as being honest and dependable, with his heart in his work, unusual qualities in a student letting agent.
