Ba Hons Simon has been an Estate Agent for close to 25 years in South London and Surrey/Sussex. Latterly spending 5 years as an Area Manager for a national Independant Agency, Simon is keen to be able offer his clients the kind of service which he believes is rare with larger companies. Rashpal has lived in the Wallington area for the last 25 years with her husband and two children who have both attended local schools.

Decide on your Priorities: Whilst it's always good advice to "keep your eyes open" when looking for a property, it will really help you to have a few "non- negotiables" to provide your estate agents with a framework throughout the buying a house process. Perhaps this might be the minimum number of bedrooms that you will consider, or a maximum price that you will not pay beyond, or a maximum distance from a station, or perhaps a school catchment area that you must be within.Being too "flexible" in the property buying process means that many estate agents will email or call you about everything - which is time consuming and frustrating.

I'm not one for writing reviews but Silverman Black were fantastic from the outset at selling both my house and flat. The minute Simon came round to value I felt in safe hands, in what was a stressful situation for me. Not only did they get me the highest valuation out of 4 local estate agents, they were kind, helpful and caring. All the staff were friendly and quick to respond to any concerns and guide me through the process. I would highly recommend them.

Amazing service - great people We recently sold our property through Silverman Black and would absolutely recommend them to anyone. We had previously bought our property through them, and that experience left us in no doubt that when it came time to sell, we would go with them again. The team are all excellent, providing outstanding advice and support, and constantly going the extra mile to help us.
There were a lot of stresses involved in our house move, but our estate agents were never one of them. In fact, without their help the move may not have happened at all! If/when the time comes to move again, we won't think twice about using Silverman Black.

I let my property with SB in March 2020. They quickly found an excellent tenant. Sign up and inventory were all completed efficiently and thoroughly. No issues with the tenant, re rent or anything else, probably due to thorough referencing and credit checking. Rashpal and Charlotte at SB have always been extremely professional, and respond quickly to any queries.

Silverman Black have handled our property rentals for around 10 years, and have always done an excellent job. They work hard to find prospective tenants, vet them diligently and give us very helpful feedback. They are proactive in managing all issues that arise with the properties and handle the tenants's concerns sensitively. Rashpal, Charlotte, Simon and the other staff are all very nice and unfailingly supportive. We can recommend the agency wholeheartedly.

I have sold two properties and purchased one through Silverman Black. A great personal service where finding the right property to suit my needs was always at the forefront of their thinking. Always at the end of the phone. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Would definitely recommend them as the best agent in the area.

Thanks to Simon, Alex & Rashpal. I was very happy with the service from Silverman Black. They found potential buyers quickly and got offers from 75% of them, we ended up selling at asking price meaning we could move to our 1st choice new home. They were also very helpful as managing agents of the property before we sold.

Silverman Black did a fantastic job of selling our house. They were in regular contact with the buyers on progress updates to keep their minds at ease, they chased solicitors on both sides when necessary, and did everything possible to get the sale through as quickly and smoothly as possible. I highly recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again if the need arises. I think also that selecting a local Independent agency was a great choice instead of going with one of the national chains. Simply excellent all round.

I really didn't recognise some of the reviews I read below - Silverman Black sold both my and my mum's house and their professionalism, courtesy and knowledge were top notch. Simon and Alex were polite, friendly, helpful and we felt in safe hands from the moment we engaged them. All the Silverman Black team were super helpful even when the going gets tough (which it inevitably does!) and I would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends in the Carshalton and Wallington area.
