The property we rented was in great condition and the few issues that did arise during our stay were resolved quickly and hassle-free. The deposit and inventory handling are done professionally by 3rd parties to ensure there is no conflict of interest. Needless to say, we got our full deposit back. Sometimes the communication could be a bit better, it was great before pandemic but since Covid started the communication became a bit slower. Overall it was a good experience and would definitely rent through RAR again.

The small flat we rented in Royal Arsenal was near perfect, as advertised. RAR were relatively accommodating prior to moving in. Seemingly through no fault of his own the initial agent we dealt with was under trained, and the tenancy agreement we signed failed to mention a locked energy contract that would be transferred into our names (something established only when the first bill arrived).

Our experience post-tenancy was poor. Human error meant our apartment was double-booked before our tenancy end-date and we vacated early to accommodate. We had to chase to have our deposit returned - though once noticed this was resolved swiftly. One agent promised to arrange rebate of the overpaid rent as this was his error - we struggled to reach them many times following this.

After countless emails and multiple phone calls over the course of three months, we managed to connect with somebody to finally resolve the issue. Overall, the team are bad at responding, seemingly poor at managing comms that might overlap between different agents, and convey an image that they only care about the individuals they deal with until they have collected their fees.

Having previously dealt with a nightmare agency, I was probably more difficult to deal interact with, as trust had been broken by my past experiences. I primarily dealt with Reily and Christian and it was refreshing to interact with professional and transparent people. Covid19 would have put additional pressures on their processes during my departure, but this is not something that was noticeable to myself. The flat I rented was clean and accurately advertised, and my minor departure costs were fair and explained. Overall I would fully recommend this agency.

I'm an overseas landlord and have been very impressed with RAR since they took over the management of my flat in Royal Arsenal. They take care of everything and communicate really well. They are good at what they do - no hesitation in recommending.

Clean and peaceful residential society. Has the perfect balance between history and modern life style. There is a walk along the river which is awesome. Till date no problem with the apartment.

Unprofessional and uncommunicative to the extreme. We (two students) very much wanted to live south of the river and found properties advertised by this company which seemed ideal. After ringing the estate agents and being promised a call back, I sat and waited. No call. Rang back myself and managed to book several viewings for later that week. On the day of the viewing, just as I was leaving, i received a text informing me the viewing was cancelled as the estate agent was 'off sick'.

When I responded asking if no other estate agents were available, I was ignored. They did not try to schedule any new viewings or give me an alternate day. Rang back the next afternoon and the "sick" estate agent (Denna) was back in, sounding in complete health on the phone, and having made zero effort to get hold of me to book new viewings. Despite this I booked new viewings with her. Saw properties, liked one, booked a second viewing with my flatmate, who also liked it.

We decided we wanted to put in an offer. From this point Denna became unreachable and we dealt with Riley exclusively. Their list of requirements turned out to be ridiculous and unreasonable, including three months of personal bank statements - supposedly 'to check you aren't gambling addicts', though as long as somebody paid rent and bills on time, I'm not certain why this is any of their business.

Despite us being students and having UK based guarantors, they were also adamant that either a landlord reference was needed, unless we were willing to pay 6 months upfront. Riley finally declared that he would ring the landlord to ask if he was even willing to take students in the first place - we had made clear we were students in the very first phone call.

Why show us properties where landlords had stated no students? This was the last I heard of Royal Arsenal. They couldn't even be bothered with a courtesy phone call back, and reading reviews on here I truly think we dodged a bullet.

5 Stars Most Definitely! Royal Arsenal Residential managed my property for 3 years. During this time, I had no problems whatsoever. They were always keen to help out and when the tenants served their notice, new tenants were found straight away, making the changeover completely stress free. I recently put the property on the market and although the first buyer pulled out (these things happen) a new buyer was found the very same day! Keith is absolutely amazing and has gone above and beyond the call of duty on numerous occasions to help me out (through no benefit of his own).

He really is a great guy! You can trust these guys 100%. I honestly can't express enough how happy I am! I would highly recommend anyone who is thinking of letting / renting / selling / buying to use Royal Arsenal Residential.

I have just finished a 5 month tenancy with Royal Arsenal Residential which was extremely pleasant. From the moment I met the letting agent for the initial viewing of my property I was treated politely and professionally. As a busy professional myself, Royal Arsenal Residential worked around my schedule to fit in the viewings and continued to do so when I had queries during my tenancy period.

The team there were very welcoming and helpful when I told them that I was to cut my tenancy short, not because of the property but personal reasons. They continued to work around me whilst re-letting out the property. Denna Henderson, the letting agent, in particular was extremely professional and helpful. When I had a leak in the flat due to a loose bath plug, she came over within 2 hours of me informing her and had a plumber at the property within 24 hours who fixed the minor issue without a problem.

I also enjoyed the personal feel of their Facebook page, which instead of filling your feed full of new properties, actually informed you on historical elements of Royal Arsenal and any interesting additions to the area. As a lover of boats, I was especially interested in a post regarding a boat that had docked on site and was holding tours - this was a nice touch for someone like me not from the area and who didn't know many people locally. I would absolutely advise moving with Royal Arsenal Residential and intend to do so again in the future.
