Lovely lettings team and a big shout out to Georgia for handling the letting of my flat. Quick to respond, reasonable fees and the willingness to negotiate fees in a very competitive market place are all great business traits. As a landlord, I had been using another agency for the past 20 years but was always frustrated with their lack of clarity regarding money matters, so WJ Meade was a breath of fresh air. Michael, Russell, and Billy were extremely helpful, professional, and responsive over the last year as we searched for a home to buy in Bow. Unlike other estate agents we contacted during our house search, they listened carefully to our requirements and did a really great job of making sure we saw the properties that fit our requirements. Searching for a house during the COVID-19 pandemic obviously brought extra challenges and the team at W J Meade went above and beyond making sure we had access to the information we needed from the vendors to make an informed decision. I sold my flat in Limehouse with WJ Meade and was incredibly impressed with the service. Other agents that I've dealt with simply act as a service to match buyers and sellers, but WJ Meade genuinely operate as an agent. Michael and the team put in an incredible amount of work dealing with all parties involved (my solicitor, the buyer and their solicitor, even the buyers mortgage brokers and Tower Hamlets Homes) to make my sale happen.
Right from the beginning the service was professional. Russell came to the flat to discuss using WJ Meade as an agent. There was no nonsense or hard sell like I got from other agents. My sale was challenging, with a demanding overseas buyer, new Grenfell related regulations & Coronavirus causing issues. Had I used a DIY online agent I'd have had to deal with these alone. WJ Meade helped with all of these things, going above and beyond to help progress my sale. Thanks to all at WJ Meade for your help! I highly recommend their service.
