The first Intercounty office opened its doors above a sweet shop in Saffron Walden in 1991 (a thriving market town in Essex recently voted one of the best places to live it the country). In the early days the business concentrated predominantly on the sale of local homes in the 2nd hand market. Following a successful few years it was soon time to open a second office in the bustling market town of Bishops Stortford, just 12 miles to the south of Saffron Walden in East Hertfordshire.In 1998 the business gradually grew to 5 offices covering East Hertfordshire and West Essex and in 2005 residential lettings and mortgage advice were added Intercounty's range of services.

We are totally committed to delivering a straight forward service focused solely on your needs and we will challenge ourselves and the industry norms in order to do this. Our aim is for all customers to feel confident and comfortable at all times, to know that they can rely on us to deliver a consistently outstanding and individual home moving experience.
