This place is clean and well run, the meat is high quality and there's a great selection of local meat that gets rotated regularly. You won't always find your usual cuts, American grass fed tenderloin, plain chicken breasts, etc, their stuff is pretty gourmet, but they're outstanding for going and finding a focal piece for a dish, and finding interesting new cuts.

They are across the street from me, I love it, but even when I lived in Sandy Springs and Roswell I would still come out here. The Wagyu flank is a favorite, the ultra Wagyu strip is Soooo good. I've never had any other Biltong, but theirs is so good I always end up buying 2 packs of it. Their Xing Chiang sausage is the best, it's good for any meal, sweet and spicy, it's especially good in ramen with their beef stock as the broth. I haven't had a bad experience here yet, not sure why I hadn't left a review until now, but they are the only place I buy my meat from.

None of the three employees there yesterday were wearing masks. So that tends to spill over into the customers. Over half of the customers there yesterday were not wearing masks, including a young child. And it's a small space, and they were crowded. So even though I like their deli meats (although some are way too fatty) and their wagyu beef, I will wait until Covid is gone before I ever return. One time I did buy their prepackaged ground beef, and I am not a fan. I did not like the taste or the strong smell.

The best local butcher in Marietta! The hungarian sausage, diver scallops, and the smoked cheddar cheese are favorites of mine. Heywoods has a wonderful range of products, and they even have hard-to-find guanciale for carbonara! The butchers are very knowledgeable, the customer service is wonderful, and the prices are affordable for a butcher that is mindful of how the meat is sourced.

Literally no where else I would go when shopping for special family gatherings. Have bought caveman sized steaks for Fathers day, charcuterie for Christmas and even just some great beef and sausages to grill whenever your team is playing, I have never been dissapointed by anything I've bought or the service that came with it. Mothers day is this weekend and this is my first stop. Glad to have a butcher shop like this close to home.

This place is great. A real butcher that knows what every cut is best for, plus where each animal came from and how it was raised. Local farms and local connections so a much smaller carbon footprint plus it tastes so much better than anything you'd get at a regular grocery. House made sausages, ground meets, and smoked meat and fishes. This place is great. Want to impress with your next charcuterie plate, go here.
