We voluntarily choose to affiliate ourselves with the Office of Fair Trading and the Property Ombudsman (TPO) for Sales and Lettings and adhere to their strict codes of conduct. We are also ARLA/NAEA/PROPERTYMARK licensed agents which means that you, as a consumer, are dealing with an agent that is accountable and understands the law.

Estate agency is not a licensed or regulated industry, but we have made the choice to be part of the main bodies that oversee the conduct of estate and letting agents in an attempt to show our customers our willingness and commitment to improving industry standards.

Target Property was established in 1991 and has been successfully selling and renting properties in the local Boroughs for nearly 30 years. The owner of the business (who is still active in the two large offices) prides himself on working alongside his highly motivated sales and lettings staff in delivering excellent customer service to all clients and achieving the best results in any and all market conditions. Our two large offices are situated at each end of the Hertford Road, N9 and EN3 and attract prospective buyers and tenants all year round.

Meet the Team

Justin has been active in sales and lettings for over 20 years, having worked for large corporates and then purchasing Target Property in Edmonton in 2009 and then setting up the Enfield office in 2014. He also owns and runs Thomas Childs Lettings in Hertford, as well as Angels Sales and Lettings in Enfield Town, and runs a successful property inventory company called ASAP Inventory.

Under the latest government rules you may pay Stamp Duty at several different rates, depending on the purchase price. Under the old rules, there were several different Stamp Duty rates, but you as a homebuyer, paid the same rate on the whole purchase price. Under the new LBTT system buyers pay tax on amounts between bands, not on the full purchase price of a property.
