Raw-Rees Jim & Co - Aberystwyth

The Second World War had been over for 3 years when, in 1948, Jim Raw-Rees returned to his home town. He set up practice as an Auctioneer, Estate Agent, Surveyor and Valuer at premises in Great Darkgate Street, beyond the town clock. Although he soon established himself in business, the early years were not easy. In 1951, as a result of war service, he was taken seriously ill and was in hospital for a long period.
