Corum is a privately owned Estate Agency formed by John Kelly, James Durward, John Davidson and Innes Allan who have over fifty years combined experience at the forefront of residential property sales, with fifth partner Mark Jamieson joining in July 2003 and in doing so bringing another 13 years experience to the Corum proposition. Our overriding desire is to provide clients with a truly market leading service and unlike so many others have no secondary agenda to sell mortgages and financial services.

Estate agents - all the same? Far from it. There are those who offer legal services, others who offer mortgages and increasingly, some branching out into letting services. At Corum, we offer one service. Buying or selling, it means we can spend more time listening to what you want and why. It means we can devote more time to added value activities to help you achieve it. And it means we're on hand to guide, advise and support you throughout the process - and often, beyond. Since our inception in 2003 we have been fully committed to giving all clients a 7 day a week service, however the ongoing pandemic has imparted a need for a revised and responsible approach to this in order to minimise exposure for both our staff and clientele.


Once, estate agents were estate agents. Nowadays, they're often lawyers, mortgage brokers and letting agents - but not at Corum. We work exclusively in estate agency, meaning we devote 100% of our time doing what our customers want: securing the best price. The agency's original founding partners worked together at one of the largest estate agencies in the country, until a company takeover led to a wholesale focus on Financial Services - a move reflected across the industry as a whole. It prompted the team's departure to set up the privately owned, dedicated estate agency Corum in 2003.


Our Newton Mearns office is located on Glasgow's South Side and covers some of the city's most affluent and sought after suburbs including Giffnock, Eaglesham, Whitecraigs and Thorntonhall. Located in the district of East Renfrewshire, the area is widely regarded as having some of the highest calibre schooling in the West of Scotland and catchment areas are a major attraction within the Southside market place.
